It is used in the production of flame-retardant protective clothing for industries such as metallurgy, machinery, forestry, and fire fighting, and can also be used as decorative fabric in hotels, restaurants, and cinemas. Products include various canvases, plain cloths, poplins, and twill fabrics.
Hubei Xiangyuan Special Fabric Co., Ltd. was formerly known as Chibi Special Fabric Factory, established in 1987. In 1987, responding to market demands, the company developed flame-retardant fabrics, and has since achieved large-scale production. It is the only professional manufacturer of flame-retardant fabrics in Central South China. In 1990, it became the first company in China to obtain a production license for flame-retardant fabrics issued by the Ministry of Labor (No. XK20-3130001) and was designated by the Ministry of Labor as a "flame-retardant fabric" designated production plant.
In March 2000, as a representative manufacturer of flame-retardant fabrics in China, it was invited by the State Economic and Trade Commission to participate in the "International Health and Safety Expo" held in Hong Kong.
